We’re going to start our Guest of Honor announcements for BABSCon 2023 in the best way with best yak, Yona. Making her first-ever appearance at BABSCon, it’s Katrina Salisbury!

In addition to voicing the most excitable of the Student Six on My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, Katrina has used her considerable talents for characters including Nico Niyama on Kiznaiver, Inmate 43B on Tooth and Tail, and Angela on Tobot. Give her a follow on Twitter and Instagram.

So register now and book your room to come see Katrina and our upcoming Guests of Honor as we indulge in some nostalgia this April 7–9 at BABSCon 2023. We’re also always looking for volunteers and still need your help in our Capital Campaign Drive.

There has been some confusion in our messaging about the amount of capital we are trying to raise to put BABSCon on a more stable hooves for the future.

We want to give you guys a reason to support us for this Capital Campaign Drive beyond just giving you a great convention with fantastic guests and events. We have been trying various methods, merchandise, and sponsorships to raise this money since August, with limited success.

We have devised perks for donating that are amazing. In order to make donation easier and see what perks we are offering we will be running an Indiegogo campaign that will be fulfilled through Backerkit.

Our goal for this Capital Campaign drive is $50,000.00. This is to cover our pressing need of $40,000.00 plus the fees necessary to run the Indiegogo campaign and fulfillment with Backerkit.

In the next few days we will be releasing another State of the Convention video as well as the Indiegogo campaign.

BABSCon 2023

We won’t beat around the bush. We need your help to ensure we can last through 2023 and beyond.

In 2020, as many of you know, COVID-19 wreaked havoc on this planet. The timing of the global shutdowns were devastating for BABSCon. We were only a few weeks away from having our 2020 convention. Then, our 2021 event was also cancelled due to COVID. This meant we lost two years of revenue while our monthly bills kept coming.

Despite our best efforts with BABSCon 2022, we're still in a very bad place, financially. To that end, we've set up an Indiegogo campaign to raise the capital we need for 2023 and beyond. More details about our current situation can be found on that page.
